About

I am a senior at the University of Southern California. I study Political Science and minor in Sports Media Studies.  In my spare time, I enjoy annoying complete strangers with my opinions on politics and sports and I thank Neon Tommy for letting me do that. I also enjoy watching the Red Sox do a lot of winning, and will occasionally tolerate a loss. Sometimes I cry about the state of USC football. Sometimes I cry about the state of humanity. It all depends on my mood that day. I am currently re-learning Spanish, so feel free to converse with me. Or don’t.

The name of this blog is “It’s A Small World, After All.” It isn’t named after the Disneyland ride, though that is obviously the best ride in the park. It is named so, because in the past four years, the biggest thing I’ve learned is that this world is so much smaller than we realize. Not only does everyone know everyone else, but everything we do and talk about is interconnected in one way or another. Something like sports directly affects and is affected by social norms and customs in ways we don’t even realize. That exact connection is something I enjoy exploring the most, so expect a lot of discussion about it.
